Pete was without doubt one of the most influential people in my career. His eye for the detail is what I think sets him apart from most coaches and if I was to pick one coach in the world then it would be Pete I'd want in my corner. 
He challenged me in so many different ways when I needed it but he was also there in the tough moments which as a professional athlete for over 15 years, there are many of! 
I truly believe I was able to maximise my potential because of Pete, not just as a badminton player but as a person. Pete was my coach but he was so much more than that and continues to be a mentor for me after my sporting career.
